No other production method is so effective in the early stages of development as 3D printing – freedom of design, a wide range of functional materials, and super quick turnaround times with no tooling costs mean you can develop a new part in a matter of days and know that it works as intended. 3D printing offers rapid, cost-effective prototyping by allowing quick design iterations without expensive tooling. It enables the creation of complex geometries and customised parts that are difficult or impossible to produce with traditional methods. Designers can test form, fit, and function early, reducing development time and risk. Additionally, it supports on-demand production and minimises material waste, making the process more efficient and sustainable.
We offer two levels of service:
- Express means we will dispatch your parts within 3 days.
- Standard means parts will be dispatched within 10 days (you can usually reckon on within a week).
If you need a service outside of these standard times, get in touch. We have delivered parts within 24 hours on multiple occasions.
We offer a prototyping service using HP MJF (powder bed printing) and FDM (filament based printing).
For HP MJF technology, we offer our fastest service on our standard production nylon, PA11, but we can also supply PA12 , glass filled PA12, flame retardant PA12, polypropylene and TPU (flexible).
We can supply a wide range of materials using FDM printing, although we tend to hold stock of Tough PLA, ABS and TPU. For other materials, get in touch with us so we can give you a more accurate lead time based on the material availability.
This is ultimately going to be driven by the final application. However, if you are planning to use additive manufacturing for the eventual production volumes (or this could be a consideration), we would tend to recommend prototyping using the HP MJF technology, as this is the most suitable technology for production printing. This will give you the most accurate representation of what the final product will look like.

This depends on the size and volume of your part. We price based on how much space your part takes up in a build or how much material it requires to print. Express is a premium service that bumps your parts up the queue, so this is more costly than our Standard service.
